Josh’s Story

Perhaps one of Total Rehab’s most powerful success stories features the husband of one of our Total Rehab team members, Ivey.

"In 2017, at just 22 years old, my now-husband, Josh, was paralyzed in a farming accident. Josh went from being a healthy, athletic male to suffering from a T12 spinal compression fracture that left him paralyzed. Thankfully for us, Total Rehab was on the front-end of his care. The first day we came to Total Rehab, Josh had no lower extremity movement. With our wedding only being six months away, Josh’s main goal was to be able to stand at the altar with me. With the help of his amazing physical and occupational therapists combined with his determination, he was able to reach that goal!"
